Shadia Sabagh is a Miami-based abstract artist whose work bridges fine art, sculpture, and contemporary design. Her practice is built on a single, hard-won conviction: that transformation is not a metaphor, but a material fact โ something you can witness, hold, and eventually shape with your own hands.
That conviction was formed over seventeen years working in hospice care, sitting alongside people at the threshold of their most profound transition. It followed her into corporate life, and it followed her out โ three years ago, when she left that career to build an independent studio practice devoted to the same questions she'd been living with all along: what does it mean to change, to rise, to become.
Guided by themes of renewal, elevation, and inner transformation, Shadia's paintings and sculptures explore the organic shapes and fluid movements found in nature, the body, and the emotional landscape. Her work is recognized for bold composition, modern minimalism, and symbolic architectural forms โ a visual language refined over three years of working in resin, a medium she treats with the same reverence she once brought to hospice bedsides: presence, patience, and total attention to the moment of change.
Her work has been shown at The Other Art Fair, held in private collections, and placed in curated interior design projects throughout the United States. She continues to expand her practice through sculptural objects, limited-edition collectible design pieces, and immersive installations.
Shadia creates from the belief that art is a portal โ a way to rise, heal, and reconnect with one's highest self. Her pieces transform the spaces that hold them, not only visually, but energetically. Sometimes, transformation becomes an object.
